Nadia
Welcome!
I'm Nadia — a mostly hobbyist writer and artist with a BA in language studies and art history.
I like to rotate fictional characters in my head like rotisserie chickens, and I'm only slightly pretentious. My main interests are comics (of all types and genres, both print and digital), superheroes, linguistics, art and fashion (including historical), and my own characters. Also cat pics.
Currently writing a probably overambitious superhero novel(?) focused on themes such as bodily autonomy, interpersonal drama, and uhhh... unethical human experimentation? You know, evil underground medical facilities. Par for the course, really.
I post progress here and there on tumblr in my writing tag and in a dedicated tag for the setting, though it's mostly just random ramblings about process or musing over some decision or other, and the latter tag also includes a lot of other stuff like art, inspiration and so on.
Also maybe working on a magical girl AU. I'm tinkering with various VN and RPG engines for funsies so we'll see if anything comes of that.

You can find me posting most actively on Tumblr
- @softgrungeprophet (reblogs and writing)
- @hoardlikegoldenirises (art only)
I am also on Bluesky
- @goldenirises.bsky.social (art and retweets)
- @hornygoldenirises.bsky.social (NSFW art)
I don't make comics outside of a few doodles or single pages, but I have some project-related art compilations on ComicFury, same username as most other places—goldenirises 😊 It's probably the best way to view my scratchverse (superhero OC) art tbh, though tumblr is still my main for the time being.
